Ohey there. It's me, Freefall Anderson!

I cooked up two boiling hot ideas for today.

Number one: Video filming + Replay tags and codes. You may record a video, then get a code for it, and paste it on the forum within tags.

(Or here)

Number two: Music-Making Machine - Alternative 1: You could buy a Music-Making Machine in Bob's once in a while, and with it comes 50 Empty CDs that you can make songs on, and then you can play them in your house.
Alternative 2: You could buy the Music-Making Machine in a completely new store for music. Then you place it in a room. You need to buy CDs for like 5$ to make music and save. There would be some preset songs like the Lava Lounge music that you could play without having CDs. Maybe also putting out the songs you made in the music store?

The 'hard to code' excuse

I am doing a degree in Computer Science. Several members of these forums know about coding.

If you have no idea what you're talking about, please don't shoot down a suggestion with 'It might be hard to code'. It really doesn't help.

On the other hand, if you see people who know what they are talking about claiming that a suggestion wouldn't work, don't mindlessly quote this when you have no knowledge of coding/servers/computer science.

Copied from the posting guide.

I did not said it's hard, it's just making it lag.

Anyways, it's not like YOU don't go on about things being too hard to code.
And I think he meant FORUM code, as in like [example]your mum[/example]

Yes, the first suggestion would be extremely difficult to code - and kind of pointless. You'd have to have registration data for each member, unless screen capturing software was created for BTC; but this would be extremely pointless, as there are already more suitable products out there. Plus, the idea of getting a "code" for your video isn't a good idea, due to the amount of data that needs to be stored - your code would be massive! I don't even think you can manipulate the PHPBB2 database's "" tags for the use of a code, anyway.

The second idea is rather far-fetched, but is doable, at least.

It's been done in IncrediBots - And it doesn't have to be an hour long or so - you could put a max time limit on like... 2 mins. Also:

Same for that: It's been done in IncrediBots.

We're getting offtopic. But for the question; Some company bought it and didn't buy the 'Bot'-Servers.

So you basically took the idea from Incredibots?

And like you just said "some company bought it". That means they have the funds/ capabilities to take on a task like that. I know "recording" is perfectly possible and can be exported as a code, but it's completely pointless for 2 minutes. What are you going to record?

Also, Incredibots don't use tags to display them in the forum. They have a GIANT code that they paste. For instance: http://pastebin.com/vDPveh73

The IB codes only have like 500 rows for 5 mins. And, as I said:

There's no point in making a 2 minute video.. What are you going to put in it WB related?
