What did you do before computers?

The title is misleading, I mean what you did before you had been introduced to computers, or before you started using computers actively. Just thought it would be an interesting dose of nostalgia.

To start off, I had Lego and Pokemon.

When I was really little, if my dad went out and played in his band, my brother and I would pile onto our mom's lap, sit and watch the dial-up internet bar load, and then my mom would get on Nickelodeon's website and we'd play games. I've honestly used computers my entire life. Before I used the internet all the time, I played regular old computer games. Warbears is what really got me on the internet regularly, after I got DSL. I used to play Playstation, draw, play board games, Nintendo 64, and go to the park. I also played with legos a lot with my brother and I was an avid Pokemon player. I still am, sort of.

Reading and playing SNES. Come to think of it, SNES may have prepared me for the sheer hours spent on staring at a screen.

Hmmm I don't know. I used to own some CDs I'd put in the computer and learn how to read english, since my parents didn't know how to speak it at the time, and then get super gassed when I knew how to spell something and others in my class didn't because I learnt it on the computer.

My mum had Britney Spears CDs in all the radios around the house, so I spent time learning the words to Hit me baby one more time, I didn't really like any of her other songs, and I still don't know how that prepared me for rap that I listen to now...

Also, when I was young I had very bad perceptions on how to draw people. I would literally draw a head with two legs... a head, two legs. If it was my dad, it would have about 3 hairs on because he's bald, if it was my mum it would have long curly hair, so I still have a box of drawings from when I was about 5 with just these heads and legs.

Anyway, in year 5 (when I was about 10) my friend introduced me to Warbears and that's when I really started being obsessed with computers...
So yeah, I was on this website illegally for 3 years (since you were only supposed to be allowed to join if you were 13)

Well when I first had a home computer, I was amazed by the isosceles 3D layout games had,but before computers. I did what I do every night pinky. Try to take over the world.
