I went to the SL and I started to say the first answer to get the first door open. and I only could put one character per bubble. Whenever I tryed to type two characters in one bubble, I would say only the one letter and why pressed a second letter I would say the first letter. Screenie: http://i31.tinypic.com/282dcef.png
EDIT: Okay, nevermind.
EDIT2: Okay, it's back. 
EDIT3: It works everywhere, now. I noticed it's only me.

I'm going call it on your computer only because you're having this issue. Have you tried turning it off and back on again?

This once happened to me, too.
I forgot how, but I recall me thinking it had something to do another BTC character entering the park or something.
I tried to call for help by typing one letter at a time reading "HELP I HAVE A GLITCH" or something, and people just told me to stop spamming
Then I left the location, entered and left a few more times, and it eventually got fixed.
I used IE back then, and it hasn't happened again yet.

Maybe your computer is just messed up?

I use IE, so that's probably why.
EDIT: Kinky, Fredrik, and Globox just said to me "Stop Spamming" and "Warning 1, Comanderbear." I'm going to start using Firefox, now.

Try a different browser. I use chrome.
