Yeah, so there was a thread for this before, but it was vague and unsuccessful so I locked it to make this new one
Basically, I would love a cafe, partly just because I want a place where they sell cups of coffee and tea. I know there's the whole issue of having another location which would serve the same purpose as the bar, but how cute would a cafe be with little tables and sofas and a counter to serve drinks from. Plus I really badly want to be able to hold mugs; after all, we have coctails and beer, shouldn't there be something non-alcoholic *unsubtly claims to be doing this as part of a 'good message' for the kids*
I'd love to see what designs people can come up with for the room and the mugs
This is my vision of it:

You can't have enough tea. Hence the crucial role of the cafe in BTC _________________

Isn't locking a previous topic and creating another one stealing someone's idea?
There should be a public game like the rest of the areas. Maybe draughts/checkers or dominoes?
Don't forget the donuts! _________________ I can haz updatez? |

Nice, although you could at least make the owner more unique. It looks like Paul is in a disguise. _________________ I can haz updatez? |

I asked Ioji about this once. Ioji says :
"I think a cafe wouldn't be very popular and it would be empty."
Sorry to crap on your parade. |

I know, hence my comment of it serving the same purpose as the bar. I know I'd spend most of my time in it though _________________

And to make it a little mor popular, I had thought that a cafe (If ever added, but you beat me to the thread) would be next to Pip's library if it ever gets going. I mean, what can be better than reading a book with a nice latte? |

Could maybe the cafe would be more popular than we think? How abou thinking new design cafe to be popular not only the design. What else? The taste of the menu there? |

Ahahaa, she lies!
Anyway, commander-brand cups of coffee and tea ftw.
I'd rather hang out in the cafe than the bar. _________________

Why not just get rid of the bar, and replace it with the cafe, then there won't be popularity issues.
Also, I'd prefer chillin' in the cafe , rather than the bar.
