At the intro, we saw Ira, Dr Xam and Aleksej (the helicopter guy). But, who were they and what were they trying to do?
Also, does Brian Sad got to do anything with them?
(I checked "Blin" on google, and it came out as a Russian pancake!) _________________ I can haz updatez?

I can answer to some of that. Blin is a russian expression, while "Bud' Ostorozhen" means be careful. Aleksej is a name. _________________ The creator of Warbears |

yes, Great one it is Russian and ya know something? The Groundhogs could easily be German or Russian. Look at M1 when the guy says: "That is a smoke bomb!" You can easily see it being said with either accent. =D> 8) _________________ First official poster in '08 from GMT - 8 (0034 hours) |

Thanks for some answers.
I always wondered why that groundhog says "That is a smoke bomb!". I thought it missed a sentence like "Was that a smoke bomb?". Now I know that groundhogs have accents. _________________ I can haz updatez? |

The English demonstrated in Mission 1 isn't the best. In fact, it used to be a lot worse. I played an older version of Mission 1, and I know. Here's a sample of some of the dialog. I print the current version of each line second.
(Lucas on the roof)
"The lift door is closed" / "The lift door is locked"
(Pizza boy, after finding his scooter)
"I wonder where's that stupid thief" / "Where's that stupid thief gone?"
(Groundhogs, with pizza guy at the door)
"Dude... have you ordered a pizza?" / "Dude... did you order a pizza?"
"Could be... I can't remember..." / "Maybe... I don't remember..."
"Oh well... I'm hungry by the way..." / "Oh well... I'm hungry anyway..."
(Kla tries the copier-room door)
"Shut" / "Locked"
Some of them are only changed for clarification, but in others you can clearly see the grammar improvement. _________________ And I'm one post closer to being permitted to post URLs. Man, this is slow. |

Out of interest, has Warbears generally improved your English Io? Because I would of thought you'd have a vast improvement with all the contact with English-speakers. That goes for all of you forumners who are forced to write in English. _________________
