Not the point, just simply stating that Twigglet's statement is way off base.

No, it isn't. Not at all, actually. Since the list Knyh gave is longer, I actually think my point has been completely proved. I'm not saying that what they're doing are wrong, and I'm not aiming it at Americans but American television companies, so I don't see why you're getting all defensive.

Only a Sith deals in absolutes

And for the sake of not coming off as one, Twig also deals in absolutes I guess?

So, I totally forgot to watch the episode last night, but luckily for me I had already watched it on some offshore Chinese pirating site. Whistle

Because it's all a matter of preference and what you're saying is ridiculous. The lists mean nothing, since they are mostly comprised of game shows that are exactly the same everywhere in the world. Besides, not all American adaptations of UK shows are worse than the originals, and not all of them are better.

I'm not even sure what point you're trying to make. If you're trying to say that UK television is better than American television, that's just hilariously incorrect.

Like what you said yourself; it's a matter of preference.

Finally finished watching S2E2 "Hounds", it was pretty entertaining! What's a little funny though, is that I watched it with my mom who already has a pretty intense fear of scarymongous dogs Kawaii

Dyon has a point. First you say it's a matter of preference, and then you say that if I believe a certain thing I'm wrong. Let's go with this one: If you're trying to say your opinions are better than my opinions, you're hilariously incorrect.
