Hey guys, this is my first attempt to make a newsteller. I found some grammar mistakes that I hadn't notice before saving it, probably I drank too much coffee that day. The reports, other things and designs are all created by my own.

Sorry if the first issue is terrible, but I'll try to improve. Wink

Hurts my eyes. Otherwise it's ok.

In other news, I quit this time.

This is getting ridiculous... I think we already have enough newsletters.

I don't think mentioning me is still a surefire way to get popular.

Are you only just coming to realise this? Newsletters have been so done to death to the point that it's become a horrible cliche of the Warbears community. To anyone still making these all I have to say is if you're going to jump on a bandwagon, make sure it's one that's still moving. Have you noticed how lacking the comics section has been lately? Concentrate your efforts on something people are actually going to like. Not this pointless drivel. /rant

Newsletters haven't been done completely to death.
Admittedly yes, the 'news' element it farcical and honestly pretty much all the 'reporting' of news is dire.

I think a blend of comics and newsletters is where the future lies, which is the slant my revamped newsletter effort is taking.

Quality not quantity yeah, and judging by some of the quality of some of these newsletters even if most of you collaborated you wouldn't get one quality newsletter.

I think all the negative comments towards this are uncalled for and we should be encouraging creativity rather than instantly dismissing someone's efforts. Newsletters are a great idea as not all people, including me, like making comics.

I think this is quite a good effort, Constance. The design does hurt my eyes a bit and if you make another issue, I think condensing it onto one page would work better. However, I liked your article on the Warbears wiki - to bring some attention to it - and the 'Did You Know...' part was a nice idea.

I honestly believe that if you guys collaborated instead of doing individual ones, you'll probably get a lot better newsletters designed and written. It wouldn't be perfect, granted, but I think it would be a lot better than having several. You could even make it an official thing.

Having said that, I like the idea that there is a 'press scene' on this website.

Hey, Constance chose A) one of my favourite comics, B) One of my favourite strip of that comic and C) The strip that was published on my birthday.

Anyways, that was NOT originally published that day, since Bill Watterson stopped making Calvin and Hobbes on 31st December 1997.

I think Jp got that one.
Also, I was the one that originally showed the dirty wiki, I made a thread about it.

Right, like I would add "Renibee" to the mod article. Also, how did Renibee learn grammar so fast?
