Second, I think a hints system when the player doesn't make progress for 5 minutes would be useful. It could be something simple, like one of the Warbears making a suggestion. |
I second this. It may help keep the flood of "I need help with M4!" threads from hitting the forums after M4's eventual release. I know a limited version of the hint system was in M3 (the Commander gave hints as you went along the mission).
If the hint system gets into M4, it should be expanded (but instead of 5 minutes for a hint, it should be 3 minutes) and also be optional (you can toggle whether you want the hint system on or off in the Mission 4 options). |
and you would get less credits if it was on _________________ i like oranges and the little blue candys that come in pill bottles |

I wouldn't really have credit penalties for using the Hint System. The more realistic way for penalties for using the Hint System is to have them during timed areas, during battles, or during timed battles.
Like if you use a hint during a timed area, your penalty is lost time waiting for the hint to come up. During battles if a hint comes up, you take a hit waiting for the hint. During timed battles, you take a hit and lose time waiting for a hint. |

I don't see why there needs to be so many penalties.
Can we not just have a forgiving hint system in case you get stuck...? _________________

M4!
I have a request.. it's to not make everything so confusing looking. Mission 1 and Mission 2 were simple looking. You can see what needs to be clicked.
Mission 3 was messy, everything looked like it could be clicked on - you found yourself going backwards and forwards hundreds of times searching for that little tiny thing you *assume* you have to click to progress. But it turned out that there were no "little tiny things". _________________

I thought that added to M3.
And to be fair, it was set on a big oil-rig, so some of it would look like you may have been able to interact with it. _________________

In mission one, I enjoyed how you could see the entire game in front of you and it was still as hard as crap. The third mission, on the other hand, was split into three separate places. While still being hard, it took away from the Warbears feel that the first two had. I'm not bringing your game down or anything...I just like the first and second game's feel. |

Yes... I agree with you, Edawg. M3 was excellent, but I like the M1 and M2 style more. _________________

Yeah, definately.
And hopefully, when the next adventure comes out, it's the same style as the first _________________ Newest Comic - Paranoia |

You couldn't see everything that was going on in Mission 1 though because of the underground...
And in M2 you didnt see all of it until you got inside. _________________

But the screen hardly ever moved in M1 and M2, whereas it went all over the place in M3.
I agree with Edawg. _________________

We should see that fish's corpse lying under the water (the fish which Steve shot in the end of M3), because it was sucked down the energy field together with Kla, Lucas and Steve
Oh, and I'm glad you will start working on M4 after the update, Ioji, because I'm really looking forward to it |

I have a request: Make M4 look and feel like Warbears.
This is the first mission that is (apparently) underwater. I don't want to spend the entire mission swimming around in a slightly bluer contrast. _________________

I think we should be able to control the Commander and the penguins. Also, I think we should be ale to use vehicles to get around in. _________________ Repeat Stuff |
