Getting Started
First things first, and that is getting started!

Finishing the missions is essential seeing as that is the only way of earning money. You can find walkthroughs HERE.
But other than this, you can:

Buy a T-shirt from Ioji (earning you 250 credit)

Visit the site once a day (earning you 10 credit)

complete the secret location finding all the boxes containing credit (earning you 250 for every one you find)

Playing minigames and Quizaboom games (Credits vary according to how much you play the game - Resets amount every day)

Now once you get a fair/good amount of money, you can start building your apartment. To buy an apartment, go to the farthest store on the right. You can purchase your apartment from there. Items can be bought from the middle store and wallpapers and flooring can be found on the store to your left. To read about these items, apartments and wallpapers, and all their prices, click HERE

Now to meet some friends!
Meeting friends are as important as a man and his pie, you can't live without it!. So no tips on making friends, but there are plenty to help keep in touch! Keeping In touch is as useful as it is easy. There are 3 easy steps for accepting friends and asking for them.

When asking for them:

1. Meet
"Sup dude!"
"Wanna be mates?"

2. Addin'
Go check your to-be friends profile and add him/her as a friend.

3. Get him to accept!
"Oi! Ugly! Accept my friend invite ya stupid..."
"COOL!"

And Tada! Your not a loner anymore!

Now on the other end...

1. Meet
"Sup dude!"
"Wanna be mates?"

2. S/He'll Send
"I'm sending a request!

3. Accept!
Go to your friends list and you'll have a request!

The Newer method
A newer easier way has been Invented

1. Meet
"Sup dude!"
"Wanna be mates?"

2.Addin'
Click the person and then click the little plus, they will get a small message to accept or decline(to disable go to Options and click 'Refuse Friendship Request) Or this could happen Vise-versa.

And congratulations! You don't have to sing the lonely song anymore!

Policing

1. This forum operates a three strike policy. Users will be warned a maximum of two times for any and all offences in a three month period. If the need arises for a third warning a temporary ban will be put in place of between 1 to 7 days

2. Arguing with team members after having received a warning will lead to an immediate additional warning. Should this exceed two strikes a temporary ban will be put in place as above

3. Users who feel they have been unfairly warned are welcome to contact the relevant team leader, e.g. if warned by a moderator you should contact the Moderator team leader. If they feel you were treated badly they remove a warning. If you feel their decision is also unfair you may contact a Group member, primarily SHS` or theFinn. Their decision is final. Contacting group members over warning matters should be done so as a very last resort ... group members do not want to be bothered unless vital.

4. Any attempt to circumvent a temporary ban will lead to that ban being made permanent. Circumvention includes re-registering under a non-banned username, changing IP addresses to evade an IP ban, registering a new email account of evade an email ban. Circumvention includes posting as an anonymous user.

5. An exception to the three strike rule applies when users contact team members personally (via any method) and post insulting, indecent or vulgar material. Such users may be subject to an immediate permanent ban.

6. Permanent bans are a last resort and thought is given before implementing them. While we may consider lifting permanent bans from time to time this is a rare occurrence.

How to Make a Proper Post/topic
This guide will tell you how to make topics and post on the forums.
Please: Do not post anything that is not related to the topic.
Ei: Talking about cupcakes in the music topic.
If you want to talk about any random thing, go to the Randomness Thread.

How to make a good post
So, you want to make a post in the forum? Make sure you read this guide before doing anything, to risk being warned for spam. Just follow these steps.

1. It's normally okay to bump a topic. As long as you're contributing.

The Music Topic Last post: Sun 1st January 2009.

    Bad:

    hi ppls

    Good:

Hey. I personally like Blink 182. I think they are a great band, and my favorite song is "What's my age again?"

2. Have good grammar. If you don't have good grammar, you wont be taken seriously. [And criticized by Stu]

    Bad:

hey guys u alrite!!!!! i fink dat huever gets citizen of da day shuld be able to get mre than 100 creds.

    Good:

Hey, I think that whoever gets Citizen of The Day should get more than 100 credits.

3. Be nice.

    Bad:

Argh! I hate you so much! You just are the worst person ever! You have no music taste!

    Good:

Sorry, but I disagree. I don't really like that band. [Maybe explain why]

How to make a good topic

So, you know how to make a good post. Want to know how to make a topic?

1. Follow Steps 2. and 3. from How to Make a Good Post.

2. Make sure the topic hasn't already been done. Look absolutely EVERYWHERE in the forums before posting the topic. Even in the last pages. There's no point making a topic that's already been done!

3. Make the topic appropriate.

    Bad:

    - mods are so annoying

    - mods are so cool

    - ioji! read now!

    Good:

    - Your favorite celebrity.

    - What instrument do you play?

4. If a moderator locks your topic, just accept it. It's not the end of the world! Just don't go and make another topic about it, or make a topic asking why the other one was locked.

5. Make sure what you are posting a topic about is in the right section of the forum. If it's a bug, put it in the Technical section, not Mission 3 discussion!

Going off topic: It's fun, sure, but it gets really annoying, especially in topics like the Hurt and Heal. Resort to PMing or other topics.

Quizaboom!

Quizaboom is a gameshow building found on the far top-right hand side of the map. It currently runs three games:

Quiz!

The aim of the game is to score as many points as possible by answering the question correctly in a race against the clock and Sobchak!

Sit at a podium to start playing.

The more points you acquire the higher you will climb in the rank of the day and the faster you answer the more points you acquire.

Quizaboom requires a wide knowledge of the "general knowledge" area, or just a wide knowledge of all the questions and also requires good spelling and grammer.

Safe

The aim of safe is a "guess a code" game - a.k.a mastermind - which generates a 2-5 number code, in which you must crack.

Sit at a podium to start playing

The game starts off with the cpu telling you the amount of numbers you must enter. If there is more than one player, the cpu will ask you in turn to guess the code. In the bottom right hand corner there is a hacking device, there you can drag and drop numbers. The cpu will tell you how many numbers you have gotten correct, if any and will also give out hints now and again. The faster you crack the code, the more points you acquire.

Word

The aim of word is to guess the word shown on the board. Not exactly like the traditional quizaboom, but moreover a "wheel of fortune" game.

The game starts with the cpu creating a word and then in turn the users have to guess it. Simple enough.

More Reading

BS modding:
Here's a clarification on what to do and what not to do. In case of spamming, bumping, etc., don't post stuff like "Oooh you gon' be banned" or "Mods lock this now" or "This is going to be locked" or "^BUMP" or "^SPAM". Also, don't say stuff like "I'm really sick of..." or use excessive caps (hypocritical much?) or tell people to do such and such, especially mods. (Seriously, dudes, we're not BLIND or anything.) But you can post stuff like "Go here to learn how to..." or "Please don't..." or simply ignore it (really, guys, it en't that hard to ignore). We will delete spam topics, and we will also warn for BS modding. Bumping is okay if it contributes to the topic.

Double posting and the likes: If you see someone double-posting, generally you should ignore it. However, it may be okay if you are contributing to the topic and you gently remind the above user to please not double post. For example: "No, I agree that so-and-so should be such-and-such because blah blah blah. And user-above-me-who-has-posted-twice, please don't double post. There's an edit button by your post Wink." Or something polite like that. But don't jump to the opportunity of doing that frequently, either, because mods do deal accordingly with double posting, so it is ultimately unnecessary to do so. When in doubt, resort to a PM.
Also, we do appreciate when a user posts the link to another topic when a poster posts a redundant topic. Just don't post after someone if they've already provided the link; a mod will lock the topic accordingly.

Going off topic: It's fun, sure, but it gets really annoying, especially in topics like the Hurt and Heal. Resort to PMing or other topics.

Posting: Basically, don't spam. This means no posts that have literally, nothing in them. Or quote pyramids Mad. Or posting really strange posts that have nothing to do with anything, or just restate something that's been previously said. Just try to contribute something (useful) when you post. Additionally, spam topics are no excuse to spam in. You will receive a warning. Do not post in topics that you know will be locked. Do not post in there! Anything but a redirecting link is not helpful.
Note: Do not put "first post!" etc in your posts. That is spam.
Technical Forum Behaviour link

In regards to improper English and typing: quit nitpicking; it's annoying and pointless. It's okay to perhaps point out that it's hard to read the user's posting ("Well, I'm not quite sure what you meant, but..." or "It's a little confusing what you meant by...") but don't bash ("You're a **** because you can't spell and..." or "lok!11! Im so-nd-so cuz i am stupid & cnt typ!1! lolol! i wnt 2 b mod!!!11" or "I'm translating this stupid noob's writing..."). The extent of these comments has seem to grown over the past whenever. It's not clever to correct someone's typing, just because you're so 'superior'. I've seen most of you make lots of grammatical errors; no one's perfect. It's tiring when I see all the pointless posts that just say something to the extent of "Speak in English, noob". Nothing helpful there!
